The Holy Mass is the most perfect prayer of the Church. It unites your intentions to the Sacrifice of Christ.

What is the Holy Mass?

The Mass is the sacrifice of Christ sacramentally actualized for our salvation. In every Eucharist, Jesus offers himself for love of the Father and for the redemption of the world.

“The Eucharist is ‘the source and summit of the whole Christian life’.” (Lumen Gentium, 11).

According to the Catechism (CCC 1323): Our Savior instituted the Eucharistic Sacrifice of his Body and Blood to perpetuate the Sacrifice of the Cross throughout the ages.

It is the highest moment of prayer and communion with God. By offering Mass you participate in Christ’s redemptive act.

Why offer a Mass? (Doctrinal and biblical basis)

Offering Mass is an act of love and faith. From the earliest centuries, Christians have presented particular intentions in the Eucharist, trusting in its unique efficacy.

In 1 Timothy 2:1 we are exhorted: “That supplications, prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made for all people”.

The Catechism (CCC 1367) teaches that at Mass “the sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one and the same sacrifice”.

According to YouCat (YouCat 212): “In the Holy Mass, we can entrust to God all our worries, sufferings and joys”.

In offering Mass you entrust your intentions to the heart of Christ who immolates Himself for us.
