The Church is still standing. Help her embrace families who have lost everything.

Please, help them today!

According to initial reports from our local partners, dozens of churches and religious buildings have been destroyed or severely damaged. Even so, the parishes have not closed their doors. Today, they continue to provide shelter to hundreds of families who have no safe place to take refuge.

The earthquakes changed thousands of lives in just 39 seconds.

On June 24, 2026, two earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale struck north-central Venezuela just 39 seconds apart.

Several weeks have passed since the devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela, but the emergency is far from over. Thousands of people continue to live amid the rubble; they have lost their homes, their jobs, or their loved ones. Amid the grief, the Church stands with them, offering food, shelter, spiritual comfort, and hope.

What's happening in Venezuela?

The states of La Guaira, Caracas, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, and other regions suffered severe structural damage.

Thousands of people lost their homes and are now living in temporary shelters, sports stadiums, churches, and schools, where they face difficult conditions due to a lack of drinking water, food, sanitation, and medical care.

But amid the dust, cracks, and power outages, a true miracle of faith occurred: the Church did not come to a standstill. With roofs on the verge of collapsing, it did what the Church has always done in the most difficult moments: it opened its doors. Today, hundreds of families are spending the night in parish facilities, seeking not only a safe roof over their heads but also the spiritual comfort that only God can provide in the midst of fear.

So that the Church can continue to embrace this community, it needs you.

“The Church stands with those who suffer the most. Priests, nuns, and volunteers continue to support the communities, offering shelter, distributing aid, and bringing hope in the midst of suffering.”

In the face of an emergency, many organizations send boxes of supplies. Our work is different it goes deeper. ACN does not directly distribute blankets or food. Our mission is to support the local Church so that it can be a beacon of light and a source of comprehensive refuge.

Your donation gives life

When a tragedy strikes, many organizations address the most urgent material needs. ACN’s mission is to strengthen the local Church so that priests, religious sisters, and parishes can continue to welcome, accompany, and support those who suffer the most. Where others end their work, the Church remains.

Helping Those Who Help Others

Your generosity will help priests, nuns, and Christian communities continue to support the victims and their families by providing spiritual and pastoral care and distributing essential supplies.

Trauma Healing and Psychosocial Support

With your help, the Church will continue to offer spiritual support and psychosocial care to those facing pain, fear, and uncertainty in the wake of the earthquakes.

Housing for seminarians

With your help, we will be able to provide temporary housing for the 25 seminarians in La Guaira, so they can continue their training while the damaged facilities are being rebuilt.

Here's How You Can Help the Venezuelan Church

Our Venezuelan brothers and sisters need to know that they are not alone. In the midst of this emergency, your help will enable the local Church to continue being present where it is needed most, standing by affected families and bringing hope during the most difficult times.

We are counting on you to continue supporting those affected by this tragedy and welcoming those who have lost everything.

Help the Church, which is supporting the Venezuelan people during these very difficult times
