In 2025, we were able to fund 5,368 projects around the world
In 2025, we received 6,860 requests for assistance from all over the world. Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, we received donations totaling 145.8 million euros; by adding 2 million euros from reserves carried over from previous years, we were able to fund activities totaling 147.8 million euros. As can be seen in the chart, the largest portion of these funds was allocated to expenses related to the organization’s mission—that is, work necessary for specific projects, outreach efforts, and prayer activities.
As usual, the percentage of expenses required for administrative purposes and fundraising remained comparatively low so that the greatest amount of funds could reach Christians in need. In total, in 2025, ACN funded 5,368 projects in 141 countries, at a cost of approximately 97 million euros. Another 19.3 million euros was allocated to the promotion of the faith, informational efforts, and activities to defend and represent the interests of disadvantaged and persecuted Christians around the world.
Bequests accounted for a significant portion of ACN’s aid to the Church in 2025, totaling 31.3 million euros—that is, 21.5 percent of the total. For this reason, together with our brothers and sisters in need, we not only give thanks to our living benefactors but also remember with gratitude those who continue to help us even after their death.

Dear Friends:
The first Apostolic Letter published by Pope Leo XIV bears the beautiful title «I Have Loved You» and focuses on love for the poor. In it, the Pope proclaims an important message: God Himself has a special love for those in need, and therefore, it is impossible to love God without also loving the poor. For God’s love depends on our passing it on to those who are in need.
ACN is committed to this mission. The Church is most in need wherever love is denied and hatred is allowed to have the final word, and wherever, in both great and small matters, life is not served but death is fostered. This makes any lasting peace impossible, as we can see on a tragic scale in today’s world. For God’s peace can only flourish where love for the poor is nurtured. The most fundamental peace, therefore, is the peace we have with God. All other forms of peace are merely reflections of that one true peace with God.
In this regard, the assistance provided by ACN is a commitment to peace in the truest sense of the word, as this Annual Report once again gratefully confirms. Yet ACN can fulfill this great responsibility only through the support of the many benefactors who sustain our work, both spiritually and financially.
As the new President of ACN, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helps make it possible for ACN to bring God’s love to the poor, especially to impoverished Christians and Churches throughout today’s world. I ask for the blessing of the living God and pray that He will strengthen us in our mission to share our love with those who are poor and in need.
