Gaza still needs your help now!

Amid a fragile truce, the humanitarian crisis continues. The Christians of the Holy Land need you.

Bajo una frágil tregua, la crisis humanitaria continúa. Los cristianos de Tierra Santa te necesitan.

The Reality in the Holy Land Today

A ceasefire was declared in October 2025, but the humanitarian crisis is not over. Gaza’s infrastructure is devastated. The water and sewage systems have collapsed.

Gaza’s Christian community has shrunk dramatically: from more than 1,100 people before the conflict, only about 500 Christians remain.

On July 17, 2025, the Holy Family Parish compound was attacked: 3 people were killed and 10 wounded, including the parish priest, Father Gabriel Romanelli.

Since March 2025, the humanitarian blockade has halted the flow of food and medicine into Gaza.

The crisis is spreading. In the West Bank, 180,000 Palestinian workers have lost their jobs. In Jerusalem, shrapnel has fallen on the Old City, threatening holy sites.

The Miracle at the Sagrada Familia Parish in Gaza

Amid the destruction and fear, the Holy Family Parish has become a haven of life and hope. As everything around it crumbled, more than 12,000 people found food, shelter, and spiritual comfort there.

Despite the danger, the bombings, and the shortages, the priests and the Missionaries of Charity remained with their people, sustaining them with faith, prayer, and charity.

Their witness is a miracle of love and resilience: the Church that does not abandon, that stays, and that serves, even as the world crumbles.

“No one has considered leaving. They've known from the start that there's nowhere else to go. Danger is everywhere.”

Father Gabriel Romanelli, pastor of the Holy Family Church
