THE WORK OF THE CHURCH DURING THE CORONAVIRUS

ACN supports religious in the fight against Covid-19

ACN has been supporting many religious communities to live their charisma of caring and serving the most needed ones for years. In Ukraine, religious sisters are on the frontline in the battle against Covid-19; they bring the love of God to the suffering ones. They are nurses, caregivers of the elderly and parish agents who help those that have nothing and nobody.
ACN helps Saint Francis of Sales’ missionaries in UGANDA
The country is in quarantine due to the pandemic and that has led to increased poverty since they cannot work. The missionaries have decided to feed 100 families who no longer have anything to eat. They are families of 6 to 10 people who, in addition to feeding them, also receive disinfectants and vitamin C.
Base communities help fight coronavirus..
ACN has been helping the empowerment of small Christian Base Communities for many years. Thanks to these help, today the Church can entrust the relief works, in a more orderly and effective way, to these communities. We are certain that ACN’s benefactors have never thought that these base communities would be sources of comfort during the Coronavirus crisis. (Sr. Christin SCCs)
